Membership Contract Cancellation Policy:

  • To cancel within a contract term, I must provide either proof of move/address change of my residence
    or place of employment outside of a 10-mile radius of Ethos Fitness + Performance (46 Wareham St.)
    or proof of a serious medical or physical disability (official doctor’s notice) that prohibits my ability to
    exercise for more than three months.
  • If I wish to cancel within a contract term for any other reason than those set out above (or other than my death or Ethos’s permanent closure, as required by law), I am permitted to “early cancel.” The early cancellation fee will be 50% of the balance of payments owed under the contract for the remainder of that term. I agree that this early cancellation fee is reasonable and that my payment method on file with Ethos will be charged in that amount upon my early cancellation. I understand that there is no early cancellation option under this subsection if I have exercised a contract reduction as set out below.

Training Membership Contract Suspension Policy:

  • Should you wish to suspend my contract, you may do so for a fee of $15 for up to 7 days of
    suspension.
  • Each suspension period serves to extend my contract period by the same amount of days in the future.
  • A $15 suspension fee will be assessed for every 7 days the contract is suspended.

Training Membership Contract Change Policy:

  • Should I wish to reduce my current contract to a different contract option within the current contract
    duration that provides for fewer sessions per week, I am able to do so once per contract. I understand
    that this “contract reduction” allows me to reduce my contract only by reducing the contracted-for
    number of sessions per week and that my payments under the contract reduction will be at the
    standard rates then in effect. I am not permitted to change the type of membership (for example, from
    personal training to group classes), nor am I permitted to change my contract duration.
  • If I choose to reduce my current contract, I will be charged a one-time fee of $100.00.
  • My newly chosen contract option will then begin on the date the contract is changed and will continue
    for the duration of my existing contract (for example, if I have 10 months remaining on a 12-month
    contract, my contract reduction will apply for the remaining 10 months).
  • Once I have exercised a contract reduction, if I cancel my contract within the contract term, I will not
    have the “early cancel” option set out above during that contract term and will owe the full remaining
    balance of my contract at the time of cancellation.
  • I may increase my contract at any time, without a change fee. My increased contract will then begin on
    the date the contract is changed and will continue for the duration of my existing contract (for example,
    if I have 10 months remaining on a 12-month contract, my contract reduction will apply for the
    remaining 10 months). I understand that my payments under the increased contract will be at the
    standard rates then in effect.

3-month (12wk) membership = 3 payments
6-month (24wk) membership = 6 payments
1 Year (52wk) membership = 13 payments
